The degree in Public Relations and Communication seeks a broad and rigorous training in the areas of language and communication, business organization and human resource management, including the understanding of contemporary society and its patterns of behaviour, with emphasis given to the behaviour of the internal and external public of companies and institutions.
This ensures the acquisition of skills necessary to carry out a professional activity, whether in the specific context of public relations, or in related professional contexts. The development of these skills takes place within different academic units, and in each one of them teaching methodologies and evaluation systems are put into practice in accordance with this purpose. In its turn, the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures tracks and monitors these procedures through its organs of supervision and by administering surveys to students.
