Objectives
The Professional Higher Technical Course (CTeSP) in Accounting and Taxation prepares qualified professionals to support accounting, financial, and tax management in public and private organizations.
Throughout the training, students develop technical and practical skills in accounting, taxation, financial analysis, and administrative management, using digital tools that support professional activity and respond to the demands of an increasingly dynamic and digitalized economic context.
The program includes a strong practical component and a close connection to the labour market, culminating in a work-based learning placement, facilitating graduates’ professional integration.
Access Requirements
Applicants to the CTeSP in Accounting and Taxation may apply if they meet one of the following conditions:
• Holders of a secondary education diploma or legally equivalent qualification;
• Holders of a Technological Specialization Diploma (CET);
• Holders of a Higher Professional Technical Diploma (CTeSP);
• Holders of a higher education degree;
• Individuals over 23 who have passed special entrance examinations designed to assess the ability to attend higher education.
Applicants without training in relevant areas for admission to the course may be required to take a knowledge assessment test, under the terms defined by the University of the Azores.
