Objectives

The main objective of the curricular unit is to provide education and training in the field of ocean affairs and law of the sea. At the end of the curricular unit students should be able, based on acquired knowledge, to comment cases and discuss specific situations.

Teaching Methodologies

Teaching is composed by a mix of theoretical and practical classes. The exposition of each subject of the syllabus is then done by the teacher during the theoretical classes. Practical classes are aimed at solving exercises, commenting cases and discussing specific situations. Evaluation is based upon two written exams.
