Objectives

-Define the physical, cellular and molecular processes associated with the development of pathologies exemplified by processes of inflammatory, immunological haematological, allergic, autoimmune and neoplastic
disorders.
-Understand the the value of transplantation and immunotherapy.
-Define the key role of the immune system (laboratorial data) in a range of human immune mediated diseases.
-Demonstrate the role of Immunology and immunity on human disease and how this can used to diagnosis and therapy.
-Understand immunity to benefit both health and prevention of disease.
-Interpret and assemble scientific data from reports based on immunological or research laboratory activities
