Objectives

1. Deepen knowledge about the research process in Social Work, as a discipline of Social Sciences;

2. Develop skills in terms of epistemological, methodological and deontological procedures of research in Social Work, namely those related to social problems raised by social intervention;

3. Theoretical and methodological training for the operationalization of the research process in Social Work and for the exploration / selection of social research problems;

4. Know the different research strategies and technical and methodological options relevant to Social Work, aiming at its application to the intervention process and professional practice.

II. Theoretical-methodological issues and the social service research process

• Visual Methodologies in Scientific Research: Eclecticism and creativity

2. The design of research in Social Work: options and fundamentals

III. Research problems in social work

Contents to be specified after selecting students' problems, within the context of the internship or areas of interest.
