Teaching Methodologies

In order to involve students in the construction of the core content of the course, questioning and lecture methods will be used along with audiovisual media. To encourage participation and reflection on the taught contents, namely skills developed within the infection control associated with microorganisms with epidemiological significance, case studies will be used as a structural base of the lecture sessions.

On basic precautions on infection control, development of learning activities in the laboratory will be used. Thus, the organization and implementation of workshops will be used as a resource towards the development of cognitive and psychomotor skills in the application of procedures in infection control. Guided reading of selected articles for autonomous consolidation of the covered content will be implemented.
