Teaching Methodologies

The methods used in the subject’s sessions include the presentation of the general topic themes (according to the syllabus) through the presentation of texts, documentaries and/or images which promote the debate of ideas/opinions and the written oriented production. Besides the discussion, there will also be presented and solved vocabulary and grammar exercises in order to develop the language use. The students will be also requested to present a project work on a theme chosen by them.

Bibliography

Não será proposta bibliografia para esta disciplina, sendo apenas aconselhado o uso de dicionários unilingues (de preferência) ou bilingues para o trabalho prático nas aulas. Os alunos podem, ainda, recorrer a gramáticas de língua inglesa, para esclarecimento de dúvidas pontuais que possam surgir nos trabalhos realizados fora da sala de aula.

 

There is no reference for specific bibliography for this subject. However, the students are advised to use dictionaries in the sessions. They may also use English language grammars for some doubts concerning the language correct use.
