Teaching Methodologies

During class unfolding, following a theoretic-practical approach, several learning methodologies are used. Lectures are used to present concepts and definitions, regulations and legislation. This unit mostly deals with technical contents that will demand individual student work to facilitate learning and understanding. Questioning and demonstrative learning techniques will also be used with two purposes: i) exercise resolution in group; and ii) the application of procedures and interpretative analysis of requisites. Students are also involved in active learning through the individual resolution of problematic situations. Evaluation is organized by subunit through written test or written work. Evaluation methods by unit are: TR, multiple choice test; MAR, written test; CA, written work; OE, written work; RIE, written test.
