The course’s main objective is the development of knowledge about organization and management production problems, on a business administration perspective. The syllabus is addressed in an integrated and globalized manner, therefore, enables future graduate in Management the acquisition of a language common to engineers and, at the same time, the domain of some fundamental tools most used in operational management of any organization, profitable or not, as a fundamental support on their decision making.

The used methodology is the exposure of each subject and explanation of the theoretical matter, making use of slides and demonstrations, by reference to the ongoing dialogue with students and, where appropriate, the debate of ideas and experiences to facilitate the appropriate knowledge. In a second phase it’s applied the concepts with case studies in the classroom, both individual and small group work in order to consolidate the concepts learned.
