Microbiology, Parasitology and Infection Control

Objectives

- Know the microbial diversity and the relationship with living beings and the environment;
- Know the mechanism of transmission of microorganisms and the factors that influence their dissemination;
- Know the basic principles of prevention and control of HAIs and the main measures to be implemented;
- Analyze the responsibility of nursing in the prevention and control of HAIs;
- Demonstrate knowledge, skills and capabilities in the field of microbiology and parasitology in association with IACS control measures;
