Objectives

Know, understand and demonstrate: Principles of medical techniques of general clinical examination; (BP, pulse, temp, pain, etc..) Recognition of large entities: shock and its types, general clinical signs, other; Basic gestures of intervention - introducing gastronasal tube, Bladder tube, venous and arterial punctures Know, understand and demonstrate: how to communicate with - the "problem" patients; The complaints of the patients; How to break bad news; How to deal with "difficult" patients; children, the elderly and psychiatric patients
Know and understand: peri-operative care convenient in the surgical patient
Know, understand and demonstrate: Good practice and quality in health, which are end of life care (palliative, etc.); What is Medical Futility
Know and demonstrate what is defensive medicine

Teaching Methodologies

Lectures; practical classes in simulation models, role-playing and videos; final seminars integrating the knowledge and skills of all aspects of the course by demonstration through interactive clinical cases
