Translation Practice (French/Portuguese)

Objectives

- To choose different translation strategies, according to the nature of the text to be translated;
- To identify the implicit meaning of texts and their determining formal aspects;
- To search for specialized vocabulary and to create glossaries;
- To master work methodologies;
- To effectively use the translation tools and resources;
- To develop the ability to critically assess one's own work and that of others;
- To make the bridge between translation theory and practice.
