Teaching Methodologies

The Communicative Approach to teaching English is adopted. Classes are conducted entirely in English, structured on the following models: presentation, guided practice, free practice and production (PPP), and engage, study, activate (ESA). Independent study and research are encouraged. Intensive study of grammar and usage is incorporated within lessons whenever deemed appropriate. Students practice their language skills, individually and in pairs or groups. Simulated situations and role-play are used to promote communicative interaction and to make learning memorable. Self-correction and peer-help are encouraged.
