Teaching Methodologies

Bases de Análise Gramatical I is a theoretical-practical course unit. It has an important theoretical component, which includes the presentation of the main theoretical concepts and categories and a more practical component, where students are ask to solve multiple exercises of grammar analysis.

Students are evaluated based on their performance of mandatory assigned duties (mandatory readings and written homework) and on their performance in written tests. The final score is a weighted combination of the student's score on the written tests (2x45%) and on the other mandatory assignments (10%), thus reflecting the student’s overall performance throughout the semester.
