Objectives

The contribution of Organizational Behavior for the Master in Economics and Management (MCEE) is to encourage students to acquire and operationalize key concepts by providing them with credible tools that validate corporate management.

Firstly, we start with an approach to the fundamental concepts and framework of organizational behaviour management. The topics of perceptions, personality, attitudes and motivation are the main focus. Secondly, we identify leadership styles and processes and their influence on the life of organizations. Subjects related to communication and organizational culture are also addressed.

The main objectives of this course are to provide students with knowledge related with behaviors in organizations. It is intended to sensitize students to the processes of relationship in different contexts and to identify certain types of behaviors and its motivations and consequences.

Teaching Methodologies

The teaching method follows a verbal, intuitive and active logic. The first approach is theoretical and the contents are explained through examples. In a later stage, the concepts are elaborated in practical classes. Cases and exercises are used so that students can analyze situations in organizations and contribute to students' selfassessment of their personal motivations, styles and types of behavior.
