Teaching Methodologies

The curicular unit provides theoretical, theoretical-practical and practical teaching moments.

The most appropriate methods for achieving the learning objectives, at the end of the teaching period, aim at developing the competences in the students, for which, in addition to the expository method, the active one was chosen.

In conjunction with the teaching methodology, the learning activities in the Epidemiology module will be centered on the research, selection and organization of the contents developed in a perspective of deepening knowledge according to the individual needs of each student.

The theoretical classes in the Statistics module will have an expository component that will always be accompanied by examples of application in the Health area. The teacher / student interaction will also be an important component in the learning process, both in theoretical and theoretical-practical classes.
