Teaching Methodologies

The module is based on theoretical-practical classes. To achieve the objectives, a combination of several elements is employed: lectures, presentation of videos, discussion of case studies, group activities and written assignments. Classes will have a strong practical component, including a range of activities to apply research knowledge and skills. The reading and discussion of academic reference texts will be a central component. The emphasis placed on this combination of activities aims to understand and apply the concepts and methods presented. In classrooms that include contact hours in synchronous distance learning (up to 25%, i.e., 15 hours), learning tasks will be carried out within the Moodle platform (or another in use at UAc), stimulating engagement of students through, for example, the analysis of case studies or scientific articles.

The assessment comprises a critical reflection (30%) and a research assignment (70%) or by exam (100%).
