Learning Outcomes
Pharmacology:
Understand the mechanisms of action of different pharmacological groups, their general cycle in the body, and the factors that influence the variability of individual and interindividual responses;
Understand the mechanism of action, the most relevant pharmacodynamic and pharmacocinetic properties, the most common adverse reactions of each pharmacological group addressed, and the particularities underlying their prescription and use in the NHS health units;
Demonstrate the general principles of drug preparation and administration considering the different routes of administration.
