This course introduces students to the basics of entrepreneurship. It is intended that students are aware of all the elements necessary for their integration in business, to develop skills that enable them to broaden their understanding and subsequent adaptation to the business, both in terms of integration into the world of work, or the possibility of business creation and, of course, their own employment. It is intended to equip students with:
1. The underlying conceptual framework for enterprise and entrepreneurship,
2. Knowledge about the steps needed to create a company based on a business with added value;
3. The main tools for risk assessment and necessary resources to the creation of companies and businesses;
4. Knowledge of the main ways of financing investment projects;
5. The knowledge needed to create companies and businesses responsible for the integrated development of societies.

In the lectures the elected methodologies are exposure, explanation, audiovisual and question/dialogue. After presented and discussed the issues under study, practical lessons are drawn to enable the knowledge consolidation and to enable their application through text analysis, case studies, role-play and simulation, varying the methodologies according to its applicability to the topic under study.
The evaluation is based on the realization of a frequency and a work group. The work involves carrying out field work, considering the activity "Entrepreneur for a Day" where students simulate a business to promote in our city streets. Each business idea should be structured to be developed and validated in such activity. After performed the activity, each group should review it in light of the PNI model and, based on the conclusions drawn, prepare a business plan.
