a. Critically reflect on educational processes and practices, aiming educational quality and success.
b. Identify possible concerns arising from pedagogical observation and intervention during the various internships included in the study plan.
c. Use scientific and pedagogical-didactic knowledge to find solutions to diagnosed problems.
d. Improve ones’ knowledge on relevant educational topics, discussing its connections and relevance to teaching practice, showing initiative, autonomy, ethical concerns andcapacity for research and data selection, and analysis.
e. Improve oral and written communication skills.
The syllabus will vary from report to report, according to the theme, the specific educational and research goals, as well as to the problems and specificities arising from thedifferent internship contexts.
This course is based on individual student tutorial guidance throughout the various stages of the process, to allow a more in-depth systematization and reflection of issues directly related to each of the ongoing reports (design of the project of report, bibliographical research and selection, design of data collection and analysis devices and writingof the report).
Assessment will be continuous and formative throughout the process. The final mark will be granted by a specialized jury following the reports’ public presentation and discussion as stated in the Masters’ Regulations followed by the University of the Azores.
A bibliografia será selecionada de acordo com os temas e problemas específicos abordados no relatório de cada estudante, compreendendo bibliografia de âmbito educacional e pedagógico-didático no que respeita em particular ao ensino da informática, os documentos legais e curriculares que enquadram cada nível educativo em que os estudantes irão intervir, e a aprendizagem das TIC em contexto escolar, bem como sobre metodologias de investigação.
The bibliography will be selected according to the specific themes and issues addressed in each student's report. It will address educational and pedagogical-didactical topics, especially in reference to computer science teaching, as well as to the legal and curricular framework of each of the educational levels the students will experience, particularly regarding computer science learning goals, syllabus, and methodologies, as well as on research methodologies.
