The Post-Graduation in Occupational Nursing aims at developing their own skills, so that nurses can intervene in the specific environment of work organizations in order to improve the health and safety of workers understood as a group and/or individually. The Postgraduate Course in Occupational Nursing is Accredited by the Order of Nurses for the purposes of Professional Qualification with the attribution of 3,5 Professional Development Credits and, simultaneously, for access to the attribution of Differentiated Increased Competence in Occupational Nursing.

Objectives

i) Develop knowledge about the references and foundations of Occupational Nursing; ii) Analyze the ethical-deontological, political-legal and social foundations that support the intervention of Occupational Nursing; iii) Discuss the principles and management models applied to Occupational Nursing; iv) To develop knowledge about the intervention process within the scope of Occupational Nursing, namely about methods and/or instruments for evaluating, planning and promoting Health at Work and workers; v) Reflect on strategies for involving workers in the construction/promotion of their health and safety at work project; vi) Discuss principles and models of continuous quality improvement applied to Occupational Nursing.

Admission Requirements

Licenciatura degree in Nursing.
